The playbook

How it works

  1. 1

    One coin per research phase

MEF2C research gets funded to the finish line in three phases: Natural History, Clinical Trials, Manufacturing. Each phase gets its own coin on pump.fun. Trading happens there; this site is the hub.

  2. 2

Creator fees go on-chain, straight to the foundation's address

90% of every trade's creator fee is routed on-chain, directly to The Giving Block's address for the MEF2C Foundation. Anyone can watch it arrive, block by block.

  3. 3

The Giving Block converts and pays out, in public

The Giving Block converts what arrives and pays it out to the MEF2C Foundation's bank account in GBP, minus a 3.9% processing fee. Every step is published: payment transactions, amounts and payouts.

$MEF2C: meet the mefties

The cause

MEF2C Haploinsufficiency Syndrome (MCHS) is a rare genetic disorder caused by a change in the MEF2C gene that changes how the brain develops. The kids who live with it are known, affectionately, as mefties. No two mefties are the same: some can't speak, some say a few words; many find walking or eating hard.

It's almost always a spontaneous change at conception, not inherited, and there is no cure yet. Foundations are funding gene-therapy research and natural-history studies to change that. Mefties fight for every milestone. pump4cure fights with them.

Real trenches. Real fight.

On pump.fun, traders call themselves trenchers. Mefties have been in the trenches their whole lives. The enemy is the disease. The fighters are the mefties and every degen who joins them. Every trade is a punch.

Why this exists

pump4cure was started by the father of a child living with MEF2C. No child's name, photo, or medical story appears here. The mefties are real, and you can meet the families and their stories on the MEF2C Foundation's website. The fight is public; here, the kids are not.

Current balance, not cumulative progress: it drops when The Giving Block converts and pays out.

Donated to the foundation (fiat)

£0

From the ledger, after The Giving Block's 3.9% conversion fee. It lags the on-chain total by design; both are labeled, never conflated.

Progress adds up the incoming USDC transfers received on-chain at The Giving Block's address for the foundation during the last 24 hours (rolling window); the balance is never used as progress. USDC is valued at 1 USD and converted to GBP at the current market rate from CoinGecko. Figures are approximate, the chain is exact.

Crypto donations open at launch.

Other ways to donate

The foundation receives support through several channels and does not favor one. Only the on-chain donation address feeds the tracked number above; these are direct alternatives.

The pipeline

One disease. Three phases. To the finish line.

pump4cure isn't one coin. It's a pipeline. Phase 1, Natural History, is live with $MEF2C and a £1M goal. Clinical Trials and Manufacturing follow, each with its own coin and its own goal. When MEF2C research is complete, the machine points at the next disease.

The mefties go first. The machine is warming up.

Our rules

Transparency principles

  • Every on-chain movement is public and linked. Verify it yourself.

  • The fiat leg is The Giving Block's conversion and bank payout to the foundation; we show exactly where on-chain proof ends, never ask for blind trust.

  • No child's identity is ever used. The meftie represents all mefties.

  • No promise of financial return. This is a meme funding a real cause, not an investment.

  • Live and planned are labeled separately, always.

Questions

FAQ

What is pump4cure?

A memecoin mission on Solana funding MEF2C research in phases. Each research phase gets its own coin; a share of creator fees funds that phase's crowdfunding goal. Phase 1 is Natural History, funded by $MEF2C.

Where does the money go?

90% of every trade's creator fee is routed on-chain, directly to The Giving Block's Solana address for the MEF2C Foundation. The Giving Block converts it and pays the foundation's bank account in GBP, minus a 3.9% processing fee. Every payment is public on Solscan, and every payout is documented in the transparency ledger.

How is it verified?

Two levels, honestly labeled. The on-chain leg is verifiable by anyone on Solscan, no trust needed. The conversion and bank payout happen at The Giving Block, off-chain; we document them in the ledger rather than ask you to take them on trust.

Is this financial advice?

No. Nothing on this site is financial advice, and nobody should expect profit. Memecoins are extremely high-risk. The value here is the meme and the mission, never a promised return.

Who's behind it?

The father of a child living with MEF2C, plus every degen who joins the fight.

Are you affiliated with the MEF2C Foundation?

No, none. pump4cure has no contractual relationship, or relationship of any kind, with the foundation. We are an independent supporter helping their fundraising; the foundation is linked for informational purposes only.

Will there be more coins?

Yes, one per phase. $MEF2C funds Natural History. Clinical Trials and Manufacturing will each get their own coin and goal when they go live. And when MEF2C research is complete, pump4cure moves on to another disease.

How are the mefties protected?

No child's identity is used anywhere on this site: no names, no photos, no individual medical details. The mascot is a fictional fighter. The families share their own stories on the MEF2C Foundation's website; that is the legitimate route to meet them, not this site.
